Sidhu(Akshay Kumar) is the lowest on the totem pole, cutting vegetables at road side food stall in Chandni Chowk in Delhi. He longs to escape his dreary existence and looks for shortcuts with astrologers, tarot reader and fake fakirs, basically anything except himself, despite his father figure Dada’s (Mithun Chakravorty) best efforts.
His redeeming moment arrives when two strangers from China claim him as reincarnation of a war hero in the past and take him to china. Sidhu now dreams of wine, women and princely existence in foreign lands. Thanks to the devious translator, a conman by the name Chopstick(Ranvir Shorey), little does he know that he is being taken to the promised land to rid the Chinese village of the vicious smuggler Hojo(Gordon Liu)!

While these stories, at times interconnected and at times discrete, are across class, gender and religion, they are united by their spatial and emotional context.

It seems that our Bollywood hunks have become allergic to shirts. In the latest Pepsi commercial, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen shirtless with a girl fighting for a can of Pepsi.

Probably the creative guys at Pepsi must be expecting us to laugh at the commercial, but I’m forced to laugh at their whole idea. Remember the spoof Pepsi made on Thumsup? Two guys go and visit Akshay Kumar lookalike at the hospital and say… “Why are you running behind just one bottle, uncle… drink Pepsi… it is available everywhere”.
In this new commercial, Ranbir and the Girl are fighting for just one Pepsi can, so their spoof on Thumsup becomes a joke on themselves.

Aamir Khan is all set to destroy Shahrukh Khan at the Box Office in less than 2 weeks. If you go to watch Rab Ne Banadi Jodi at Multiplexes, chances are high that you might come across a life sized doll of Aamir Khan… just like the SRK’s Madame Tussad Wax Statue…. in total Ghajini look… Six Packs, tattoos and all..

If you are still not interested to watch Ghajini, Aamir has started his own Ghajini Army. You can see the staffs of Multiplexes in Ghajini hair style… yeah, road on your head look.
I don’t think audiences are so stupid to watch the movie just because they see life sized dolls and Ghajini hair styled multiplex staffs. Ghajini has its own selling point – Aamir Khan. So the producers of the movie are wasting the money on such things.

Anyways, it is hard to tell the fate of Rab Ne Banadi Jodi in coming weeks because of mixed reports, but Ghajini is all set for a bumper opening.

Weight – Kareena looks to gain, Kajon looks to loose

The two top actresses of Bollywood Kajol and Kareena are indeed doing as mentioned in our headlines! Kajol is on a strict diet and Kareena Kapoor has been asked to put on weight. Well, nothing to be surprised about. They are merely following instructions from none other than their producer, Karan Johar!

As is known both Kajol and Kareena are working under the Dharma Productions banner but in two different films. Kajol is doing Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan and Kareena in the Rensil D’Silva directed Karan Johar produced film.

So he has asked Kajol to go on a strict diet of almonds (!). Surprised? Well, the healthy nut is known to help shed weight in a jiffy. As for Kareena, she has been asked to put on weight for the Rensil D’Silva directed Saif and Vivek starrer. Karan has told her forthrightly that he does not believe in the size zero figure for a Hindi film heroine and has requested Kareena to eat properly and put on a bit of weight.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi Review

With Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi director Aditya Chopra returned to the silver screen as director after 8 long years since his last movie Mohabbatein released. It hadn’t been a great year for Yash Raj Films and there were one too many reasons why YRF desperately wanted Rab Ne to be a hit.

Shahrukh Khan’s movies very obviously arouse a lot of interest and this movie did the same job but with a difference – that being Shahrukh’s ordinary looks in the film. Shahrukh plays an ordinary guy named Surinder Sahni working for Punjab Powers. He is quite nerdish – bole toh a simple lovable guy many people can relate to.

Throughout the film he is shown asserting and compromising his true self balancing the act between ordinary and extraordinary to win his lady love. However, there are flaws in the script, Surinder and Taani’s relationship is not established well enough to justify her having an extra marital affair. Taani’s character needed more detail than just establishing her as a bubbly girl.
